A country with such varied geography and terrain have multiple types of weather as the area us find. Thus in the coastal zone (Lima, Nazca, Paracas, Ica) we see that from October to March are the hottest months, if n April to October but the weather is mild and pleasant. On the other hand, is the mountainous area (Andes, Arequipa, Puno, Cuzco) where the rainy season lasts from December to March and the dry season and blue skies is between April and September. Finally there is the Amazon (Puerto Maldonado, Iquitos) where rainfall occupy the months of November to March being from the end of this month when they can produce showers of high intensity at peak times but the sky is over clear.
