One of the most important tourist destinations and popular for its beaches of Mexico, Acapulco, is now awash in violence.
During the first days of 2011 when the southern hemisphere enjoys summer destination for rest and look for the year, 32 people were executed (15 beheaded), including minors.
Tourism in one of the most famous beaches in Mexico, who knew in their hotels host to Hollywood stars like Brigitte Bardot, has fallen about 90 percent, so workers try in every way possible to resist such a low.
The departure of visitors is due mainly to the violence in the area. "Every day is shot, killed, murdered, abducted. It's horrible. Every time we crossed and we do not know if you come home" told the daily La Nación a retired teacher who for 47 years living in Acapulco.
This situation is compounded by warnings from governments and the American, English, Canadian and Italian, to warn their citizens of the difficult situation because drug traffickers.
The sun and sand are now invaded by soldiers and bullets. Decapitation and disputes are so many drug dealers as umbrellas were once before.
Since 2006, when Mexico's president Felipe Calderon began his battle against drug traffickers, killed about 34,000 people, many of these deaths occurred on beaches. The resort is
